Each 1 ounce package will make 1 gallon of Liquid Soil.

Liquid Soil is a polacrylamide. These particles will absorb up to 400 times their size in water and will hold this water until needed by the plant. The particle size is made small to allow the polymer to be easily distributed. Since the particles swell in size so well, 1 ounce of Liquid Soil can make 1 gallon when mixed with water.

The Liquid Soil can be mixed with soil in a pot or in the garden or it can be used by its self in a glass bowl The bowl does not need a hole in the bottom for run off since the Liquid Soil will hold the access water. By adding water only when needed the Liquid Soil will last for years. Liquid Soil can be colored with food colors.

Three ways to use it

1. Put 1 ounce of Liquid Soil in 1 gallon of water leave for 15 minutes. Then scoop out some to fill a glass bowl. Place plant without dirt into the bowl sinking the roots deep into the Liquid Soil. This can be colored with food color.

2. Put 1 ounce of Liquid Soil in 1 gallon of water leave for 15 minutes. Then scoop out equal amounts of liquid soil and dirt and mix well the put in pot. Then place the plant root in the mixed soil.

3. Put 1 ounce of Liquid Soil in 1 gallon of water leave for 15 minutes. Then poke holes in the soil in a potted plant then fill the holes with Liquid Soil to make water spikes in the pots.
